P90X; Day 21 (Round 2)

Today was the best work out I have had in recent memory.

I did 4.75 miles on the treadmill; the first mile was a 3.0 mph walk with a 2.5 incline, then I ran a mile at 6.0, walked half a mile at 3.0 mph with a 2.5 incline, then I ran a mile at 6.5, walked again, and finished with a 7.5 mph run in 62 minutes.

I have never been on a treadmill for longer than 20 minutes.

After the run, I did Core Synergistics.

The unfortunate side of today was my diet; today was the worst day for caloric intake in probably 3 months. I don’t know what happened; I lost control and had probably 3500 calories and more grams of fat than I care to admit.

I hope that I can continue to improve my work outs and curtail my diet.

  1. way to go, elliot!!! Is supplementing a running program helpful for your P90x routine? I am thinking of supplementing some swimming with p90x.

    p.s. Did you get a hold of a shoulders and arms dvd yet?
